Professional liability insurance

Our professional liability insurance policy is with the insurance company Allcura Versicherungs-Aktengesellschaft, Postfach 112369, 20423 Hamburg.

Territorial coverage:

1. Germany
2. Europe: Liability claims arising from activities connected with counselling and work with European law and the functions of an attorney in a European court of law are insured
3. Worldwide insurance coverage exists up to the legally required minimum amount of insurance coverage established for liability claims placed by the policy holder in law courts outside Europe.

Exemption from liability

The partnership of Buchert Jacob Partners Attorneys at Law, Dr. Rainer Buchert and Dr. Caroline Jacob, are members of the bar association in Frankfurt am Main. We are subject to the provisions governing the exercise of a legal profession under the German Federal Code for the Legal Profession (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung, BRAO), the Code of Ethics (Berufsordnung, BORA) and the Lawyers' Compensation Act (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz, RVG).
As owners of these internet pages we have taken every precaution to insure that the information is both correct and up-to-date.
